When I was home in Oregon at the beginning of July with my family, we got to spend some quality time together on the Pacific Coast in Lincoln City. My sister, Kari, and her family, as well as my parents, were able to join us for part of our stay at the coast the week that we were there. We had perfect weather most of the time, but on the morning we went out to take some more maternity photos of Kari, it was rainy and overcast in true Oregon fashion. However, I believe the photos still turned out spectacular and I think my sister is stunningly gorgeous in every way. In these photos she is carrying my niece, Kathryn Jane (KJ), at around 36 weeks. “Kate” was born a few weeks later on July 24th; I will be returning to Oregon this week and plan to post some newborn photos of her once I get back home in mid-August.
