Most moms have trouble getting their little ones to “smile” for the camera and this mom is no exception, but when it’s time for my kids to get their photos taken, I am playing double duty, mom and photographer. Sometimes we get the shot and sometimes not. This month, we got some good ones, but not without a little bribery! My boys have the same birthday, so this month, I got to photograph both Caleb and Cody at the same time. Look how big Caleb has grown in just six months since his two-year-old photos were taken last November!
Cody is now six months old and such a cutie pie! Deep, gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that lights up our lives. In honor of him trying solids this month, I gave him a serving spoon to play with. We got some cool reflections in the spoon and my friend and fellow photographer, Jenni Lillie, Awaken Photography, came to help me set up and practice using multiple flashes during the session.
