About Kim
I currently live in the Boulder, Colorado area and spend most of my time at home taking care of my little boys, Caleb and Cody. I worked as a human resources generalist in the corporate world for several years after graduating from business school in 2002, but always felt that I was ignoring a big part of me, my artistic creativity! A few years ago after my first son was born, I started spending most of my free time honing my photography and graphic design skills and began to professionally charge for my abilities.
I developed my love for photography while living in Europe many years ago and was captivated with the challenge of creatively capturing everyday life and places on film. I took some community college classes in Photoshop and digital illustration in 2004 and 2006 to compliment my love of photography and then started designing photo announcements and invitations though my business, kim j designs, LLC in 2008.
