Purchase Related Policies
The photo cards available on my website are for your personal use. You have the right to resell any of the finished products you purchase. I reserve the right, with or without notice, to cancel an order at any time; in such an event, I will credit the difference to the credit card used for the original purchase.
As soon as you submit your order, I begin working on your design, therefore, as a condition of purchase, and without exception, you agree that any order canceled after I begin work on the order will result in a $35 charge to your credit card. This fee is to cover the time spent to create each announcement or invitation. Please note, that failing to respond to your proof (for any reason) within 14 days after the order is placed, will result in an automatic cancellation and I will retain the fees originally charged for your design.
You warrant that the images you are submitting are your own personal images, for which you hold the legal copyright, or you have permission from the copyright owner to use the images for your cards. kim j designs respects and upholds the legal rights of photographers. It is unlawful for me to reproduce images that are copyrighted without the express written permission of the person or entity that created the original work. If you have a copyrighted image and wish to use it as part of the photo card design, please contact the photographer to request a signed copyright release; once provided, I will keep this in my files. By submitting images, you automatically grant me the right to use these for the purposes of creating your announcement/invitation.
For birth announcements, you warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child or children portrayed in the images you are submitting. Please do not send images of children/babies in which full or partial nudity exposes any part of the genital area.
